Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) addressed a packed crowd at The Heritage Foundation last week to discuss the Obama administration’s foreign policy failures and the steps America should take now to reverse these missteps.
Cruz began his speech by hearkening back to President Ronald Reagan and his decision to “take down our ‘kick me’ sign” and stop apologizing for America. To fight our current threat, Cruz urged leaders to call “radical Islamic terrorism” what it is rather than being shackled by political correctness. And he criticized current strategies offered by the establishment before offering his own plan to defeat ISIS.
The event filled up Heritage’s largest auditorium and brought in a large media contingent.
