Republican Establishment Planning A Coup?

“They are not even hiding what they plan to do. They are about to change the rules, ignore the votes of the people who waited in line for hours and invalidate the votes of people who have never voted before, and put in a candidate they think is good for them.”

The Angry Patriot tells us:

Consider the following point as well. We are told (read: brainwashed) a line that only establishment Republicans can win. Okay, fair enough, let’s look at their track record, shall we?

Let’s see: in 1996, the establishment ran Bob dole against Clinton. He lost in a landslide. In 2000, they ran George W. Bush. He barely defeated that stuffed shirt Al Gore. Granted, Bush was reelected, but in 2008 the Republicans went with John McCain. He was also soundly defeated. Finally, Mitt Romney was nominated in 2012, and yet again, another establishment candidate lost.

If they engage in, and win, in this cynical campaign to get their guy in, they will not only lose this time but they will destroy the party. Judge Jeannine is right. Extremely Un-American.

The last true Conservative that won the Republican Presidential nomination in the modern era was Ronald Reagan and he went on to become one of the most successful Presidents of the 20th Century. The Republican Establishment is out to deny a Conservative or somebody they can’t control the Presidential nomination by any means possible, legal or illegal, moral or immoral. In the process, they will split the Party and ensure the election of Hillary Clinton.
