Ever watch a politician make a speech on cable news and find yourself talking back (OK, maybe screaming back) at the television? I know I do. In fact, I find myself talking back at the TV more and more these days, especially when I’m watching a speech like yesterday’s petulant address by President Obama regarding his “strategy” against ISIS.
President Obama has a habit of mischaracterizing criticism against him. Framing it in a light that makes the criticism seem absurd and those administering the criticism seem stupid, dangerous or evil.
Don’t you sometimes wish someone with the perfect answers to his absurd claims against you and your ideas was sitting right across from him and could respond to all the nonsense spewing from the presidential pie hole?
Your wish is granted. The “Great One” Mark Levin picked apart Obama’s anger-fueled tirade against his critics yestesterday on LevinTV and the results are a must-see:
Here’s a sample of the segment broken down into small clips:
First Levin took up Obama’s insulting straw man argument that his critics claim “we can’t beat ISIL unless we call them ‘radical Islamists”:
Next, Levin eviscerates Obama’s claim that “the reason I am careful about how I describe this threat has nothing to do with political correctness and everything to do with actually defeating extremism.” This answer truly is brilliant:
That’s right, according to Obama, calling ISIS “radical Islamic terrorists” would not help in defeating them, but not calling them that has everything to do with defeating them. Enjoy squaring that circle, my friends.
Next, Obama asked, “when will this stop?” speaking of conservative’s criticism of his policies. Levin provides a direct response to the rhetorical question:
Heh. Hey Obama, don’t ask a question you don’t want an answer to.
Finally, here’s Levin explaining that Muslims are the real victims of Obama’s PC-fueled, feckless policy on terrorism:
After seeing liberal and mainstream media personalities gush over the president’s remarks yesterday, it was so refreshing to see such a thorough and systematic dismantling of the hollow and defensive performance of our Commander-in-chief. If you can, you really should watch the entire episode on LevinTV:
