There are no bounds to which the Left will not resort to destroying those who do not believe as they do. They will not debate the subject but rather resort to ad hominem attacks and the destruction of people.
Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Scott Pruitt became the most recent Trump administration figure to get an earful while trying to get a mouthful at a DC restaurant, according to a Facebook posting Monday.
Teacher Kristin Mink was shown approaching Pruitt as he chowed down with a pal at the Teaism restaurant Monday, four blocks from his office at the EPA’s headquarters.
“I just wanted to urge you to resign, because of what you’re doing to the environment in our country,” Mink said, holding her two-year-old son and a notepad, as her husband recorded the encounter.
Speaking to The Post, the 33-year-old mom from Silver Spring, Maryland explained that her husband pointed out Pruitt and her first reaction was, “He’s the worst.”
“This is my son, he loves animals, he loves clean air, he loves clean water,” she said to Pruitt. “So I would urge you to resign before your scandals push you out,” she told the EPA head.
Mink teaches sixth grade at Sidwell Friends – the tony school where President Obama sent his two daughters – according to the school’s website and her Facebook account.
She told The Post she’s been protesting the Trump administration, including getting arrested at the Hart Senate Office Building last week over the policy to separate parents and children at the U.S. southern border.
“I literally just saw him and said you are the man who is ruining the future, for the children, for the next generation,” Mink said
Pruitt’s awkward restaurant encounter came after White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders was asked to leave the Red Hen restaurant in Lexington, Virginia, by the eatery’s owner last month.
Also last month, Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen was interrupted at dinner at the Mexican restaurant MXDC by a group of protesters, shouting “Shame!” at her for the administration’s policy to separate children and parents at the country’s southern border.
And Trump aide Stephen Miller was called a “fascist” by a patron at Mexican restaurant Espita Mezcaleria two days before Nielsen’s confrontation with protesters.
OTHER QUOTES ATTRIBUTED TO MINK:
“As soon as my husband pointed out Pruitt sitting there, I knew instantly that I had to say something to him, it was just a question of what. His actions are the source of so much of my despair for my child’s future and frankly the future of humanity. He’s literally sacrificing our air and water, the well-being of coastal communities, all kinds of unique natural resources, for short-term personal gains. Buying stupid crap like a soundproof phone booth for his office and first-class plane tickets with taxpayer dollars, living in housing discounted for him by an energy group while he does favors for their clients. I honestly don’t know how he sleeps at night.”
“You’ve been paying about 50 bucks a night to stay in a D.C. condo that’s connected to an energy lobbying firm, while approving their dirty sands pipeline,” Mink continues, reading from notes. “We deserve to have somebody at the EPA who actually does protect our environment, somebody who believes in climate change and takes it seriously, for the benefit of all of us, including our children.” – Splinter News
